Yay! I'm
finally getting around to the blog! I apologize for the 3 of you who actually follow this blog ;) but I had an issue with our videos. I used to just upload a few videos, but then there got to be too many per month, so I decided to just compile them all into one video using Windows Movie Maker. That was working fine for a while, but then we bought us a Mac and decided that all of our media (videos & pictures) would stay on that computer, and the Mac also got hooked up to our one set of speakers. So, it's taken me 3 months to figure out how to use iMovie (ok not really, but I haven't gotten around to it until now) and get this show on the road.
Here's the low down on what Amaia was up to in January, even though it was 3 months ago and most of this stuff is old cookie: Says "Oh My Gosh!" (duh-duh-dosh); When she gets hurt, she'll say 'ow' like I hurt her on purpose, with the 'how dare you?' look on her face; She's learned to say Thank You (dee-dee), and she'll say that as she hands you stuff because she knows that I'll say Thank You for giving it to me; Can say Amaia (maaa), Andrew (joo-joo), Ian (een), and Em (as Justin calls me); She'll walk around the house and pick up every single miniscule piece of trash or fuzz and hand it to me saying 'trash' or 'yucky' (and Thank You, of course); Says Bye Bye Daddy, Hi Daddy, Uh Oh Daddy, and Uh Oh Spadoodios; Also says Jump (pum), wait, knee, mess (mostly to tell me that she's in the process of makikng a mess), bubble bath, boat, raisins (bay-tins), bed, 'This is a (fill in the blank)', potty, laundry (ahnee), dishes, excuse me (pee-pee), iPod (yes, I'm serious, with perfect pronounciation), moon, sky, airplane, grass, and I'm 'Mom'. Not Mommy, but just Mom; She somehow knows that a football is a 'ball' even though it's not shaped like one; Helps Daddy wash her hair and face in the shower; Can put her own pants on her feet but can't pull them up over her diaper yet (and won't let me help at all until the pull up part)
And here are the pictures from this month. Some of them have captions to explain the picture so I don't have to write it all out underneath, so if you can't read it just click on it to make it bigger. And the video is at the end. Hopefully it won't take me too long to get around to February's stuff.
